About Yorkies
The Yorkshire Terrier does not seem to notice its small size. It is ever eager for new adventures. Yorkies are highly energetic, brave, loyal and clever. With The Yorkie is a wonderful companion for families who take the time to understand how to raise a small terrier dog!

A well bred Yorkie is affectionate with their master and family. They are recommended for families with older, considerate children because Yorkies are small in size; 4 - 7 pounds as adults. With a consistant and loving training program, Yorkies are also easy to train, although they can sometimes be stubborn if owners do not provide clear boundaries.

The Yorkie is also an excellent watchdog.
